The 1st Book in Mark Schweizer’s Liturgical Mystery series is The Alto Wore Tweed.
This fun, quirky series is about a small town police chief, Kayden Konig, who doubles as the local church organist and choir master. Hayden has also managed to purchase Raymond Chandler’s ancient typewriter and – in between the sleuthing and musical episodes – writes some of the best “Bulwer-Lytton” material you’ll ever find. The cliches are so good and so numerous… you’ll laugh out loud.
Here are the books in order:
The first book should come first, so you know what’s up with the police chief/choir director thing; after that it doesn’t matter so much. These books are great fun any which way.
